As I type this I am listening to “Concerning Hobbits” because that is the music that was playing at Katie & Zak’s rehearsal and it reminds me so much of them.  Lovely and sweet … playful … a little quirky … and so much in love.  On a sunny, September Sunday morning they married … surrounded by family and friends in the little white Laura Secord Homestead Chapel.

Zak is the second of my youngest sister’s kids to get married and that I’ve had the honour of photographing.  He and Katie did such an amazing job planning their wedding and the touches were so them.   From favourite books to sonnets on the petals of the paper roses.

Question Heights Restaurant provided a scrumptious brunch for us all.  There was a little dancing … a little crying … lots of laughter … and love all around.

And when the eating and laughing and dancing and speeching was done … Zak took his princess bride to the Prince of Wales hotel … sigh.
