In February I was, again, honoured to be involved in the fundraising banquet for YFC (Youth For Christ).  This worthy ministry serves kids in our community meeting many needs – both physical and emotional.  Rose and Ben head up the team of amazing people who show love and friendship to kids who are often without a bed to sleep in.

This year we celebrated the completion of the youth centre at 226 Merritt St.  In this wonderful new facility Rose runs the Young Mom’s and Young Pregnant Niagara programs.  Ben looks after the needs of the guys with Mantime and other programs.  And every Friday evening the centre hosts a drop in for teens.   Its a place where all kids are accepted and safe.
