At the beautiful Maple Meadows Farm on the shores of Lake Erie, Alissa and Johnny pledged their love for each other.  They were literally surrounded by family and friends as we circled them under a perfect summer sky.

It was lovely to see old friends reconnect and family come together from far and near.  The smiling faces beaming warmth to the happy couple only added to the brightness of the sunshine that washed over us all and filled our hearts with love.

Having watched Alissa grow from a preteen into this kind, beautiful young woman I was proud to be a part of their day and very happy to get to know the caring, sweet young man she married.  And just to show their amazing character their “kissing game” benefitted Camp Quality Southern Ontario, in honour of her great friend, Chantal who passed away.  This camp is for kids who have or have had cancer.

If you wanted them to kiss you had to open your wallet and make a contribution of at least $1.  Family and friends showed their great character as well by filling up the donation bucket very quickly.

No one can call Alissa a wallflower.  As evening defended and the stars appeared in the sky, she and Johnny and all their guests danced and laughed and celebrated this new family.
