I recently got to take part in a Bridal Fashion show featuring wedding gowns from many decades. The dresses ranged from the 1940s (second from left) to just a couple of years ago and each one is a stunner.
It has been a VERY long time since I was a bride and, sadly, I could not wear my own gown. 2 kids and a size or 2 later … Anyway, I did find a wedding gown that fit both me and my era and it was really fun to play dress up. I have to say that I was impressed by the 3 ladies married in the 1950s & 60s who were able to wear their actual gowns! The gowns were amazing and all the ladies looked gorgeous.
That’s me on the the left end. It was fun … but I prefer to be on the other side of the camera these days!
